The Benefits of Donating Plasma

WHY DONATE plasma and platelets?

Getting paid is just one of the benefits of donating plasma or donating platelets with PlasmaSource. You’ll be treated with the respect and appreciation you deserve, change lives and feel good from the inside out.

GET paid.

At PlasmaSource, you get paid every donation. Donors can donate plasma twice in any 7-day period as long as 48 hours have passed between donations. Donors can donate platelets once every 7 days. See our payment structure here.

FEEL good.

One of the lesser-known benefits of donating plasma or platelets is how it makes you feel. Research shows that helping others improves emotional well-being and health, lowers your risk of depression and gives you a happier outlook on life.

CHANGE lives.

Plasma and platelets cannot be created in a lab, so donors like you are critical for the continued development of much needed plasma-derived therapies and for transfusion medicine.

BOOST health.

Donating plasma or platelets makes you more aware of your diet, as we encourage donors to stay hydrated and eat nutritious foods rich in iron, protein and vitamin C. You also get a health screening at every donation, and a yearly physical.

Every year, it takes*
